Expoente was founded by Director Jair Almeida da Silva, who has extensive experience, starting his activities in the area in 1975 after his graduation in Agronomic Engineering. He worked for 20 years in a market leader private company, in the area of ​​agricultural production, where he came to coordinate the production of 35 thousand hectares of rice, including the production of seeds and cattle raising.

Since 1995 he is also dedicated to the commercial area.

Founded more than 20 years ago, Expoente has rice as its main product.

A family business today has two generations of the family in business management.

Our main office is located in the city of Pelotas, in the southern region of Rio Grande do Sul, the main producing state in Brazil in rice, responsible for 65% of production and where the largest milling industries are located.
